This exhibition stems from a journey deeply rooted in my family’s history, and in particular in the Fratelli Toso archive, preserved and handed down from generation to generation. For years, this extraordinary heritage of documents, drawings, photographs, and objects remained waiting to be studied and brought to light with the depth and seriousness it deserved.

For me, it also represents a personal milestone. Fratelli Toso is not merely an object of research but a living legacy — a thread running through my family up to my father, the last devoted guardian of the archive and which is the cornerstone of this project.

The exhibition offers a journey through more than one hundred glass works, narrating the story of the Fratelli Toso furnace — an eclectic enterprise capable of evolving and renewing itself decade after decade, always in dialogue with its time. A furnace able to unite production and artistry, never neglecting research, experimentation, and technical refinement.
