This project stems from a precise need: to return to the roots. Not as a nostalgic gesture, but as an act of clarity. The starting point is the Fratelli Toso Archive: an extensive collection of drawings, catalogues, photographs, and working materials. Through the archive, it becomes possible to trace the process, reconstruct the logic behind the designs, and bring the collection into sharper focus. It is through the archive that the collection itself takes shape. Back to the Roots begins here: making visible what, until now, has remained implicit. Three spaces form a single journey: from Spazio Fornace, a place of making and experimentation, to Casa Rosanna, where light takes centre stage, and finally to the Archive Room, where materials, documents, and traces of the creative process reveal the history and the work behind the objects.
