This project stems from a specific necessity: to return to the origin.
Not as a nostalgic gesture, but as an act of clarity.

 

The starting point is the Fratelli Toso archive.
An extensive body of drawings, catalogues, photographs, and working materials
that continuously document the history of the furnace and its production.
 

The archive is made visible in its entirety — not as a selection,
but as a structure.

Through the archive, it becomes possible to read the process,
reconstruct the design logic, and bring the collection into focus.
 

The collection is defined through the archive.
