This project stems from a specific necessity: to return to the origin.

Not as an act of nostalgia, but as an act of clarity.

The starting point is the Fratelli Toso Archive.

An extensive body of drawings, catalogues, photographs and working materials.

Through the archive, it becomes possible to read the creative process, reconstruct the design logic and bring the collection into focus.

The collection is defined through the archive.

The project begins here: to make visible what has, until now, remained implicit.

Every archive contains unanswered questions. Some are hidden in a forgotten photograph. Others emerge only when a drawing is placed next to a finished object decades later. Sometimes a single handwritten note changes the interpretation of an entire series. Research rarely begins with certainty. More often, it begins with curiosity.
