Vase Foglie Green

Foglie is a murrina designed by Ermanno Toso in the 1960s. It exists in 3 distinct variants, all, however, accumulated by a very complex internal pattern with motifs repeated several times, recalling precisely the characteristic texture of leaves. This vase, a unique work, has only one variant of leaf murrine, green being the predominant color. The result is an elegant and harmonious vase, perfect element of a lush forest in solid colors, but, when illuminated, it reveals all the transparency of the murrine showing shades that completely transform it. Murrine are skillfully worked to overlap and fuse together making the borders of each one almost invisible.
