Our roots blossoming into new projects and inspirations
The Fratelli Toso Archive is the beating heart of our identity — a heritage of drawings, models, and documents that tells the story of over a century and a half of glassmaking history, continuing to inspire the present. From this legacy comes Florilegio, a project that transforms memory into new creativity.
We invited Simone Crestani to engage in dialogue with our archive, reinterpreting the Liberty-style designs of the 1910s and the graceful, flowing forms of the 1920s in a collection of 21 numbered goblets inspired by the botanical world. Through the flame of the torch, Crestani brings back to life the poetry of archival creations in a contemporary key, preserving their original transparency, harmony, and elegance.
The works of Florilegio evoke a symbolic garden, where tradition and innovation coexist — where the roots of the past bloom into new seeds of inspiration and creative vision.
Through Casa Rosanna, a space devoted to research and experimentation, Fratelli Toso continues to nurture its archive as a living source of knowledge, creativity, and renewal.
