BECOMING Until June 21, 2026 From the past, a selection shaped through a renewed gaze. This selection brings together historical works from the Fratelli Toso archive and collection, seen today through a different sensibility. With the transition into spring, the way of looking shifts. Color re-emerges in lighter, more diffused tones. Murrine return to the center of the selection. Alongside their structure, nuances, transparencies, and subtle variations emerge, softening their rigor. In dialogue, other historical works follow the same direction: more sinuous forms, less constructed, where the gesture appears more natural and less controlled. After the quiet balance of the Winter Garden — defined by formal rigor, transparency, and the minimalism of Murano in the 1960s and ’70s — this selection introduces a different movement. BECOMING is a way of seeing. A selection that does not add, but brings into focus what already exists, allowing new possibilities of interpretation to emerge.
