Battuto

A unique and highly original vase, created using dark pink and white glass beads inspired by the tradition of Venetian seed beads (conterie). The surface was subsequently cold-worked through a hammering technique, creating a rich and vibrant texture that enhances the play of light.
The piece reflects Rosanna Toso’s experimental approach, constantly driven by the search for new technical and expressive possibilities. The use of glass beads as a constructive element, combined with the cold-working of the surface, reveals a desire to explore novel visual and material effects, further expanding the creative language of Fratelli Toso.
