CASA ROSANNA
Project and interior design
Casa Rosanna presents another aspect of the Fratelli Toso story: the domestic space, interiors and design.
Reflecting the aesthetic character of the space, the selection focuses on a distinctive part of Fratelli Toso’s production developed between the late 1960s and the 1970s: the years of minimalism in glass, serial production, and objects defined by essential forms and a rigorous, design-driven aesthetic closely connected to the language of architects and designers.
Here too, the Archive accompanies the story through materials different from those presented in the Furnace: photographs, film, slides, transparencies and proofs created for catalogues and promotional materials reveal another dimension of the process through which objects were designed and communicated.
Light completes the journey, highlighting the importance of imagining glass within the domestic environment and introducing a distinct, timeless chapter of Fratelli Toso’s production: lighting, from table and bedside lamps to suspended lights.
