Antica Vetreria F.lli Toso History

In 1971 Alfio Toso withdrew from the company because of a lack of male heirs.
In 1973 Ermanno Toso and Licio Zuffi died.
In 1974 the sons of Ermanno Toso withdrew from the company and Massimo Zuffi joined the company taking the place of his father Licio. Arnoldo Toso was appointed unlimited partner along with Aldo Toso.

At the end of 1979 the differences between the two unlimited partners became irremediable, primarily for economic reasons. On 22 May 1980 Arnoldo Toso got married, the company laid off employees due to a lack of work. From that point on the division of the company was complete, and they tried to reach a legal agreement.
In September 1980 the company "FRATELLI TOSO 1854 INTERNATIONAL" took part on its own in the Milan Furniture Exhibition.

In 1981 the company drew up lease contracts for the company "FRATELLI TOSO 1854 INTERNATIONAL" and for "ANTICA VETRERIA FRATELLI TOSO" owned by Arnoldo Toso.

In 1982 "FRATELLI TOSO 1854 INTERNATIONAL" closed, "ANTICA VETRERIA FRATELLI TOSO" is still in business.
